Opening Thought
Technology and technical skills are not intended merely for personal convenience; they are instruments provided to solve human problems, bring order out of chaos, and expand Kingdom reach.
Wisdom is practical solutions applied to real-world challenges.
When God filled Bezalel with His Spirit, it manifested as practical craftsmanship, design wisdom, and technical skill.
Similarly, when you apply digital tools, workflow automation, code, design software, or administrative systems to streamline operations and solve real problems for people, you are expressing divine wisdom through modern technology.
Reflection
Joseph used administrative foresight and storage systems to save entire nations from devastating famine (Genesis 41:48–49). His technical ability to organize resources under divine direction brought physical salvation to millions.
Leveraging technology for creative problem-solving involves three principles:
Identifying Real Pain Points: Looking around your workplace, business, or community to see where inefficiency, confusion, or lack exists.
Applying Ethical Digital Tools: Utilizing software, automation platforms, and digital systems to build clean, efficient solutions.
Designing for Usability: Ensuring your technical systems, websites, or processes serve people with simplicity and clarity.
Approach your technical tools with a problem-solving mindset and let your work bring order and relief to others.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of technology, intellect, and technical skills. Fill me with Your Spirit in wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to build practical solutions. Show me how to leverage modern digital tools, software, and systems to solve problems, serve people efficiently, and glorify Your name through my work. In Jesus' name, Amen.
