OUR MONTH OF THE NEW THING
Monthly Anchor Scripture
"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

DAY 28
WEEK 4 — INFLUENCE & SOCIETAL TRANSFORMATION
Focus: Influence, leadership, service, and societal transformation.
Reality: God’s new thing is not only for you; it is meant to bless others.
Raising the Next Generation Intentionally
Anchor Scripture
Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV) “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Opening Thought
The future of any culture, nation, or organization depends on the deliberate investment made in its youth. Mentorship and intentional parenting are not passive responsibilities; they are strategic Kingdom mandates to secure generations to come.
If we do not intentionally teach the next generation wisdom, character, and truth, the world will readily educate them in compromise.
Raising young leaders requires time, active listening, clear modeling of integrity, and consistent encouragement.
Reflection
Paul recognized the unfeigned faith in young Timothy, which first dwelt in his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice (2 Timothy 1:5). Through consistent, intentional nurture, Timothy grew to become a trusted apostle and leader.
Intentional generational stewardship involves three core actions:
- Modeling over Preaching: Demonstrating values through daily habits and consistent character rather than empty words.
- Creating Safe Spaces for Growth: Allowing young people to ask tough questions, fail safely, and learn wisdom without immediate condemnation.
- Imparting Purpose and Vision: Helping children, students, and mentees discover their God-given identity and assignment early in life.
When parents, educators, and leaders invest intentionally in the youth, they construct a bridge of righteousness for generations.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, grant me the patience, wisdom, and discernment needed to mentor and guide the next generation. Help me to model integrity, grace, and steady faith before my children, students, and young leaders. May those who follow behind us walk further and build stronger for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Declarations
- I intentionally pour wisdom, truth, and love into the next generation.
- My home and workspace are environments of godly instruction and encouragement.
- Young leaders around me are equipped, confident, and rooted in integrity.
- I leave a spiritual and moral legacy that endures for generations.
Spirit Challenge
Take 15 minutes today to intentionally encourage, mentor, or listen to a young person—whether a child, student, younger colleague, or relative.
Closing Exhortation
The greatest legacy you can build is not in structures or titles, but in the minds and hearts of the young leaders you intentionally mentor.
